Aurora is a high-performance direct-drive turntable that combines precision engineering with a modern, elegant design. Built around a direct-drive motor, a heavyweight damped aluminium platter, and a rigid low-resonance MDF plinth, it delivers excellent speed stability and a solid foundation for accurate vinyl playback.

Featuring an Ortofon Concorde Music Blue pick up, mounted on a static-balanced aluminium s-shaped tonearm with our patented ATS technology

Key build features

Plinth
- AURORA's plinth is made from 55mm thick rigid MDF. The most rigid in our entire lineup. More mass = less sensitive to external disturbances
Damping feet
- AURORA's damping feet are greatly improved over our existing turntable feet. As a result, it is much better decoupled and less sensitive to surface vibrations. The feet are height adjustable, allowing perfect surface levelling on any uneven surface
Platter mount
- The platter is sunk into the plinth via a cutout, giving it a much more cohesive feel that the turntable is one united piece of equipment

- The platter is a rubber damped aluminium design with a weight close to 1.5kg
Rubber mat
- Thick rubber top mat to further reduce resonances
Tonearm
- AURORA features a rigid static balanced aluminium S-tonearm with Argon Audio ATS technology

- Changeable with ease on the tonearm base
Bearing
- The bearing system is designed to be fully acoustically isolated from the motor, ensuring the motor is not transfering any noise up to the platter

Motor

The motor used in AURORA is a low-torque direct-drive brushless motor with an 8-pole coil structure. This ensures extremely stable speed performance, keeping wow and flutter to a minimum. This also means the AURORA is solely meant for home Hi-Fi use

Cartridge

The AURORA comes pre-mounted with a Ortofon Concorde Music Blue cartridge due to optimal tonearm compatibility. The Concorde Music Series cartridges are essentially a cartridge with an integrated headshell

Concorde Music and Ortofon 2M series are very familiar - Technical differences between them are that, the Concorde Music has higher mV output, higher internal impedance and uses silver coils and rubber damping

Concorde Music features the same housing all the way through the series, unlike 2M series that have Red/Blue match and Bronze/Black match. Upgrade from Red to Black LVB250? No problem, simply exchange the stylus.

Purpose in every part

Great vinyl sound starts with a stable foundation. That is why AURORA combines a rigid MDF plinth with a heavyweight, damped aluminium platter designed to minimise unwanted resonance. Vibration-damping feet provide further isolation from its surroundings, helping the stylus stay focused on the information in the groove rather than vibrations from the room.

Every part has been chosen to a solid, controlled platform for your records. The result is playback with greater clarity, stability and detail that lets the music take centre stage.

Experience all the details

At the heart of AURORA’s sound is its static-balanced S-shaped aluminium tonearm, fitted with the acclaimed Ortofon Concorde Music Blue cartridge. Together, they provide high-accuracy tracking and reveal even the most minute details captured in your records.

Our patented ATS technology (Anisotropic Torsion Stabilizer) helps reduce unwanted torsional resonance in the tonearm it allows the stylus to track with greater stability and accuracy. The payoff is not technology for technology’s sake. It is a cleaner, more open presentation and subtle details are easier to hear.

Direct drive, done right

AURORA uses a sophisticated cogging-free, brushless direct-drive motor with quartz-controlled speed regulation. Rather than relying on a belt to transfer power to the platter, the motor drives it directly, helping maintain consistent rotational speed while improving long-term reliability.

But this is not direct drive built around brute force. The motor is designed to work as part of a carefully controlled playback system, combining smooth rotation with the heavyweight platter and rigid construction around it. The result is exceptionally consistent rotation speed with the refinement expected from a high-end hi-fi turntable.

AURORA is also made to be easy to live with. Its high-quality built-in MM phono preamp means it can connect directly to a wide range of amplifiers and active speakers, while 33, 45 and 78 RPM support gives you flexibility across your collection. For 78 RPM records, a suitable cartridge is required.
