AES/EBU is a standard format for digital audio, used to interface different devices with each other. In Hi-Fi, it is mainly used to connect digital sources (CD mechanics, Streamers, etc..) to the DAC Converter. Some high-end equipment, enjoy the possibility of connection with balanced XLR 110 Ohm cable, which improves transmission performance compared to classic RCA coaxial or BNC.
Magnus AES/EBU represents the first step toward perfect signal transmission. It is made with technological solutions derived from the superior Dedalus and Invictus series , which guarantee exclusive and durable support for your equipment in order to return correct, precise and natural sound.

Conductor +70% compared to OFC: 0.31 mm2 conductors made of 7N MARC Copper (Multicore Annealed Ricable Conductor) with strands 0.08 mm smoother and more compact surface allowing 70% better audio transmission than OFC Copper.
Silver-plated Neutrik connectors, suitably modified for Magnus XLR cables, provide a firm, high quality contact.

Magnus AES/EBU allow you to transmit the 110 Ohm digital signal between your equipment with effectiveness and protection in order to enjoy the full potential your system can give you. The sound is always balanced, well centered, and the electronics can dialogue with great tonal correctness, returning a natural and well characterized sound.
Balanced geometry with dual Copper/Aluminum shielding for EMI/RFI interference and corded conductor with crank-rod detorsion. Insulating Materials used are derived Invictus, with special polyethylenes in order to lower electrical capacitance and resistance and ensure 110 Ohm impedance.
