JBL L100 Classic MKII Bookshelf Speakers

The L100 Classic MKII honours the original by maintaining the same look but uses new drive units and a modern crossover. The cabinet itself has been upgraded with a stiffer construction. It can now handle modern dynamics and imaging. The sound of the L100 MKII has been optimally improved, making them unique within the Classic Series loudspeaker range.

JBL Classic Series loudspeakers combine a timeless design with modern acoustics to create a loudspeaker unlike any other. Inspired by the legendary L100 Century loudspeaker from the 1970’s, the Classic Series models feature an iconic Quadrex foam grille, white cone woofers, and a genuine walnut wood veneer finish to ensure these products look as amazing as they sound. TItanium dome tweeters with waveguides, cast-frame woofers and midrange drivers, and advanced crossover networks with front panel attenuators bring you closer to your music than ever before. The Classic Series is a JBL Legend reborn.

The L100 Classic MkII now feature an enhanced woofer design: a 30cm bass driver. According to Harman, this has resulted in lower distortion due to improved linearity. The midrange and 25mm titanium dome tweeters have also undergone modifications to improve performance levels. The crossover design has been altered to provide dual inputs, allowing for bi-wiring applications. Additionally, the new input terminal cup includes dual sets of top-notch gold-plated binding post terminals, ensuring a secure connection to a variety of connector types and loudspeaker cables.

The chunky-cubed Quadrex grilles (a choice of orange, blue or black), cabinet structure and walnut veneer that lend each speaker its vintage vibe remain the same as the MKI versions.
