FORTE A55 has its roots in the rest of the FORTE-series, but features new unique technologies that set them apart from everything else you find in this price range. The popular design is retained with the same beautiful matte finishes and stylish trim rings around the drivers alongside the modern connectivity featuring Bluetooth among a heap of other inputs. If you’re in the market for the modern Hi-Fi system, or are looking to replace your classic stereo, these are the pair to get.
Within minutes of unpacking these beauties you’ll be up and running, ready to play the sweet tunes of your favorite music. Just pair your phone, your tablet, or any other device, and you’re good to go. The high quality Bluetooth aptX LL (Low Latency)-connection gives you impressive clarity with little to no delay.
There’s also a couple of plug-and play-ports for your record player, your TV, or whatever you want to connect. If you decide to plug in your Sony or Samsung TV (and you should), the volume can be controlled with your standard IR-remote. Because nobody ever asked for an extra remote in their life.
All cables are included in the box - all you need to do is find a power outlet.
Utilizing an advanced digital sound processing (DSP) with active crossover, the mid/bass woofers and tweeters has their own dedicated amplifiers. A new custom engineered bass driver with a 2-layer cone delivers price class leading performance with ultra low distortion in the critical midrange. All of this is housed in a stylish cabinet that has been designed using advanced computer models featuring an acoustic flow resistor between the two woofers that eliminates standing wave resonances. Combined with careful tuning and consideration the result is an open and crisp soundstage with well defined bass that delivers punch no matter the volume.
Just like everything else Argon Audio makes, the FORTE A55 is designed and engineered in Denmark with careful attention to detail. The aluminum detailing and the high-end finish make these speakers just as easy on the eyes as on the ears. The front fabric is magnetically attached, giving it a beautiful look when the grilles are removed. These are living room friendly, not only hi-fi showroom friendly.
